Munai collects the information needed to capture your leads, run your automations, and report on your results. This includes:

  • Business Information: Your business name, address, contact details, and industry, provided during registration and setup.
  • Lead and Contact Data: Names, phone numbers, and email addresses captured through your lead forms, website chatbot, the SMS Agent when you text your Munai number to add a lead, and missed call SMS on eligible plans.
  • Communication Logs: A record of the SMS messages, review requests, and follow up emails sent through your account, including delivery status and opt out requests.
  • Website Visitor Data: When you install the Munai tracking script on your website, we record visit activity such as pages viewed, referral source, and form submissions, so we can attribute leads and show your visitor stats.
  • Call Data: When call tracking is enabled, we record call metadata such as caller number, time, and duration.
  • Payment Metadata: When you use payment links through Stripe Connect, we process transaction status and customer identifiers. We do not store full card numbers; card details are handled by Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Data

Munai uses the information it collects for the following purposes:

  • Running the SMS Agent so you can add leads, generate payment links, and request reviews by text.
  • Capturing and organizing leads from your forms, chatbot, and website tracking.
  • Syncing with your Google Business Profile where you choose to connect it.
  • Providing your dashboard with performance metrics, lead charts, and visitor stats.
  • Improving our lead capture and automation workflows.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

Munai does not sell your data or your customers' data. We share information only with the service providers that make our features work:

  • Payment Processing: Stripe Connect processes your payment links and related transactions.
  • Messaging and Communication: Our SMS and voice communication providers deliver your text messages and power call tracking, and our email provider delivers your follow up emails.
  • Google: Where you connect it, we share the data needed to sync your Google Business Profile.
  • Infrastructure: Our application and data are hosted with reputable cloud infrastructure providers that store data on our behalf.

4. SMS Consent and Opt Out

By using Munai, you confirm that you have obtained the appropriate consent from your customers before sending them SMS messages. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and we honor those requests. On eligible plans, our missed call SMS feature sends an automatic text when a call is missed, so a lead is not lost.

5. Data Security

We use industry standard safeguards, including encrypted connections, to protect your data, and we limit access to lead and customer information to authorized personnel. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot promise absolute security.
